This collection is inspired by Persian and other West Asian tribal rug patterns which often represent plants, animals and insects as well as other symbols. I have been drawn to these simple, often primitive and highly geometric motifs since childhood. I designed and made many of these pieces as part of my thesis in my final year of Jewellery Arts studies at George Brown College and have continued this work after graduation.
